Mary Williams Hurst & Brownie, about 1940
(January 12, 1887 - February 1981)
My great-grandmother, Mary Hurst, was definately a dog person. I have several letters that she wrote to my grandfather while he was in the service and she never fails to mention her dog, Brownie. I found this photo in a box of things that belonged to my great-uncle, H.C. Hurst. It appears that I hail from a long line of dog people. Woof.
